Eco-monumental floating structure

This project deals with the social, political and environmental factors that contribute to the toxicity of the site, Mar Menor. The Urbanization has caused an ecological disaster under the lagoon resulting in a massive amount of algae blooming. Algae is not toxic for humans, but is toxic for the environment and these consequences have an adverse effect on humans. For dealing with this situation, the project creates an Eco-monumental object which partially filters the water and integrates this toxic situation with tourism by visualizing this issues to tourists, generating a new type of tourism.
